18001-What would it entail?
Initially we will look in detail at your current H&S hazard identification and risk assessment methodology, compare our findings against the requirement of the 18001 standard, identify any noncompliance and design, discuss and implement a development programme to lift you to compliance.

We will design a company policy statement and a system for managing the standard. Any training required will be carried out. At the same time we will identify and document all relevant legal and other requirements.

A manual will be produced along with supporting procedures to demonstrate both compliance with legislation and how the standard, once implemented, will be maintained through an ongoing identification of hazards, the assessment of risks and the implementation of any further control measures. Note: Any system implemented will include subcontractors and visitors.

We will ensure you can provide proof of how your organisation communicates and updates information of legal requirements to its employees. As part of our programme we will carry out internal audit training for all relevant staff.

Immediately prior to your assessment we will carry out a full internal audit and conduct a management review. We will help you arrange your assessment by your chosen Accredited Certification body and will be on site throughout the assessment process to ensure a successful outcome.
