The key steps of an ISO 14001 project
Initially we will carry out a detailed environmental audit identifying your
impacts and aspects. We will score and categorize them in order of significance.
We will identify the key areas of legislation that apply to your
site and activities and document these in a legislative register. Working with you we will develop and implement a program
of environmental improvements.
Particular emphasis will be placed on energy usage and waste streams.Individual objectives and targets will be set. An environmental policy manual and supporting procedures will be produced demonstrating your compliance with legislation
Personnel will be trained in the use of the system, in particular the
company policy and how to work the procedures. All relevant staff will be trained to do environmental Audits. Immediately prior to your assessment we will carry out a full internal audit of site and conduct a management review.
We will help you arrange your assessment by your chosen Accredited Certification body and will be on site to accompany you through the assessment process.
